給客戶發(fā)郵件,有十個方面是需要忌諱的: 1.濫發(fā)郵件 有專家建議,對于未經(jīng)許可的電子郵件,有兩條恒定的規(guī)則:第一,不要發(fā)送;第二,如果你打算只做一次,請參閱第一條執(zhí)行。 2.郵件沒有主題或主題不明確 電子郵件的主題是收件人最早可以看到的信息,郵件內(nèi)容是否能引人注意,主題起到相當重要的作用。郵件主題應(yīng)言簡意賅,以便收件人決定是否繼續(xù)閱讀郵件內(nèi)容。 有的人自作聰明地認為,別出心裁的主題更能引人注意,采用和內(nèi)容毫不相干的主題,甚至故弄玄虛。 試舉三例: (1)沒有主題收件人的反應(yīng):發(fā)件人是誰呀?不認識,刪除郵件吧。 3.隱藏發(fā)件人姓名 開展網(wǎng)上營銷活動,還是以誠信為本吧! 4.郵件內(nèi)容繁雜 電子郵件宣傳不同于報紙、雜志等印刷品廣告,篇幅越大越能顯示出企業(yè)的實力和氣魄。電子郵件應(yīng)力求內(nèi)容簡潔,用最簡單的內(nèi)容表達出你的訴求點,如果必要,可以給出一個關(guān)于詳細內(nèi)容的鏈接(URL),收件人如果有興趣,會主動點擊你鏈接的內(nèi)容,否則,內(nèi)容再多也沒有價值,只能引起收件人的反感。而且,對于那些免費郵箱的使用者來說,因為有空間容量限制,太大的郵件肯定是被刪除的首選對象。 根據(jù)經(jīng)驗,每封郵件不宜超過7K字節(jié)。 5.郵件內(nèi)容采用附件形式 有些發(fā)件人為圖省事,將一個甚至多個不同格式的文件作為附件插入郵件內(nèi)容,自己省事了,卻給收件人帶來很大麻煩。 由于每人所用的操作系統(tǒng)、應(yīng)用軟件會有所不同,附件內(nèi)容未必可以被收件人打開,例如你的附件是POWERPOINT格式的文檔,而我根本沒有這種處理工具,那么你的附件有什么價值呢?而且,即使有同樣的應(yīng)用軟件,有過使用經(jīng)驗的人都了解,打開附件畢竟是件麻煩的事,尤其對于自己不甚感興趣的郵件,才懶得打開它呢!所以,最好采用純文本格式的文檔,把內(nèi)容盡量安排在郵件的正文部分,除非插入圖片、聲音等資料,請不要使用附件! 6.發(fā)送頻率過于頻繁 研究表明,同樣內(nèi)容的郵件,每個月發(fā)送2-3次為宜。 不要錯誤地認為,發(fā)送頻率越高,收件人的印象就越深。過于頻繁的郵?quot;轟炸",只會讓人厭煩,如果一周重復(fù)發(fā)送幾封同樣的郵件,你肯定會被列入"黑名單",這樣,你便永遠失去了那些潛在客戶,你的E-mail營銷計劃只能是賠錢賺吆喝。 7.沒有目標定位 也許你的郵件地址是從網(wǎng)上收集的,也許是從他人手中買來的,或者是根據(jù)某種"規(guī)律"推斷出來的,總之,得到這些"資源"后,也不管(實際上也無法知道)是不是自己的目標受眾,只管不加區(qū)分地發(fā)送垃圾郵件,這樣的"營銷"有效果才怪呢! 8.郵件格式混亂 雖然說電子郵件沒有統(tǒng)一的格式,但作為一封商業(yè)函件,至少應(yīng)該參考普通商務(wù)信件的格式,包括對收件人的稱呼、郵件正文、發(fā)件人簽名等因素。我們時常可以見到這樣的電子郵件:
