從開發(fā)到談判,到下訂單,發(fā)貨等。這些都是英語基礎知識。 1)開發(fā)客戶英語基礎知識:需要定位目標市場,懂得獲取和運用英文關鍵詞。找到合適的客戶,就要開始開發(fā),開發(fā)信、電話、聊天等等,都需要英語。 2)談判英語基礎知識:等客戶回復你之后,一封封詳細的郵件,你要盡最大可能不去誤解客戶的意思。尤其一些對于數據要求很嚴格的產品,一個小差錯會導致整個訂單的崩塌。而且,要準確地講觀點和態(tài)度傳達給客戶,一句不恰當的表達,會失去合作機會。 3)接待客戶時英語基礎:毫無疑問,客戶來接待才是最好的。但是英語口語不行的話,讓同事接待,首先不了解客戶;其次不可能每次讓同事幫你。 4)英語單據發(fā)貨相關的各種單據,不僅數據要準確,很多時候時間緊迫,需要及時提供。萬一出現差錯,改單是小事,涉及到金額就麻煩了。 5)投資平臺,每天進行的宣傳、操作,都需要用英語。不要指望翻譯軟件,出錯率太高,完全依賴軟件,會讓你的訂單出現大的差錯的。 6)款相關英語:主要信用證。哪怕再負責的銀行審證人員,最后的決定權和審核責任仍然在你自己。一些信用證復雜的,長達十幾頁,翻譯公司和銀行審證員都不能完全依賴,需要一條一條去看,一個單詞一個單詞地去審查。 注意事項 合同好協議里面,對責任的劃分,最喜歡用軟條款,簽名要求、時間要求、單據要求、付款限制等。一個不符點,遇到不優(yōu)質的客戶,財貨兩空。業(yè)務員的英語就顯得極為重要了。沒有哪個同事愿意擔負責任,替審核十幾頁的全英文資料,你自己的客戶,只有你自己負責到底。 這只是幾個大的方面,一名合格的外貿業(yè)務員,一天8小時工作中,可以說80%以上的時間是在和英語打交道。英語不是萬能的,但是想成為優(yōu)秀的外貿業(yè)務員,英語不好是萬萬不能的。
